Crafts for a Cause
As part of service week at the University of Iowa, SAL’s chapter there joined forces with Circle K, a service organization on campus, to provide service activities available to all students!
They had a variety of crafts which included: writing letters to soldiers, writing letters to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, making dog toys for the local animal shelter, making no slip socks for the University of Iowa Hospital, and creating tie blankets to donate.
Chapter President Brandon Johnson said of the event: “This was an excellent way for students to participate in a service activity and learn more about Sigma Alpha Lambda. Everyone enjoyed the variety of crafts available. This was an excellent way to end the semester!”
