Up ’til Dawn
Up ’til Dawn is a fundraising event held on college campuses all over the country to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Because of events like these, no family ever has to pay for their child’s treatment at St. Jude. This year, the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Chapter came together to participate in Up ’til Dawn at their school.
Every student that attends Up ’til Dawn at SIUC is asked to bring a list of 20 addresses. They sign the provided letters asking family and friends to donate to St. Jude and address the envelopes. SAL members sent letters to 200 people! After this is done, they receive a wristband giving them access to free food and fun activities.
