Back to the Boro
SAL’s Rowan University Chapter members whipped out their green thumbs to help a local community resident with her lawn care as part of their university’s Back to the Boro service initiative!
This student-run activity was a day of service and beautification provided as a means to simply say “Thank you” to the local community. SAL members were assigned to a community member’s house to help with her garden and yard work.
Chapter President Ciara Bouyer summarized, “The event was successful. All members felt great afterward and really enjoyed the day. I got to know my members more and they got to know each other as well.”
