Firefighter Benefit
The Rowan University SAL Chapter threw a benefit dinner for the firefighters at the Glassboro Fire Department as a way to give back to the individuals that not only protect their school but their community as well. They made chicken and brought drinks, salads and sides and enjoyed a meal with the firefighters.
In addition to providing food and place settings, the members adorned the tables with thank you cards that they had written at a previous meeting to show their appreciation. The members felt privileged to be able to give back to the men who not only answer every call from campus, but also watched over the school and community during Hurricane Sandy.
