Bake Sale
The Rowan University Chapter formed a team to participate in the Making Strides Walk later this month and needed a way to raise money. They decided to hold a bake sale on campus and sell baked goods and pink bracelets. 14 members baked up delicious treats and volunteered to work at the table to sell the baked goods and bracelets to students. When someone came to the table and bought a baked good or bracelet, they were able to sign a card and attach it to a board to show that they are “making strides against breast cancer.” All the funds raised will be given to the American Cancer Society at the Making Strides Walk and will go toward breast cancer research.
