SAL’s chapter at New Mexico State University has done a good amount of volunteering in the past when it comes to lending their services to help our furry friends.

During one such recent event, members helped set up an area for grooming, collected money for services, and washed dogs and trimmed their nails!

Said Chapter Co-President Jacqueline Figueroa of the event: “It was a big success! Many pet parents came out for our services. And all the money collected was donated to the non kill shelter Safe Haven.”
