Rolling Hills Thrift Store

Members from the Louisiana Tech University Chapter spent their Saturday volunteering at the Rolling Hills Thrift Store. They helped with various duties including organizing the clothes in the storage room and then placing them within the store at their proper locations. They cleared out an entire section for the workers so they did not have to do it later on. Volunteers even had the chance to help a few customers as well during their time there.

Rolling Hills is a local thrift shop that assists community members by taking clothing and other donated items and selling them for very low prices so that people in need can afford to buy them.

Chapter President Crystal Smart stated, “My experience at Rolling Hills Thrift Store was not only fun, but it also felt great to be able to help a local ministry in town. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice and kind, and we enjoyed being a part of helping them out.”
