The chapter at James Madison University is one of our most active, and they come up with lots of exciting socials each semester. The members are able to get to know each other more by spending time together and doing something fun.
Funky’s Roller Skating
The members dressed up in 80’s costumes and went roller skating at a local rink. The rink had a DJ with music and lights. Members had a lot of fun skating as well as playing games with the entire crowd.
The chapter formed a dodgeball team to play in the Relay for Life tournament. This was a great way for members to be active while building their team spirit. They had a great time playing on the team together.
Members got together at the Massanutten Resort to go snow tubing one evening. They bought tickets to be able to ride the conveyor belt up the slope and tube down for two hours. They linked the tubes together so that several could go down at a time and even tried going down backwards. Members agreed that this was a great idea for a fun way to spend time socializing as a group.
