High Ropes Course Retreat
The SAL chapter at James Madison University took team building to new heights at their last event. Officers and members went on a three hour retreat to a local high ropes course. After completing the low ropes course last semester, they decided they were ready for something more challenging.
Members participated in warm up activities on the ground then took off in two groups to complete different challenges. The event culminated in a zip line back to the ground.
“This event made our group a lot closer. The goal of this activity was to foster better communication and allow others to step up into leadership positions,” said Chapter Secretary Jennifer Moya. “Overall, the course taught us a lot about each other.”
