Pie in the Face!
GVSU SAL members had a sweet time at their kickoff meeting this semester; they were able to watch their officers receive a pie in the face! The special event was an award for the chapter’s high level of activity last semester. In addition to this event (and eating lots of pizza), officers introduced service and leadership events, Relay for Life, and Feeding the Homeless fundraisers.
“Getting pied in the face was almost as funny as the reactions I saw from each member after wiping whip cream out of my eyes. Everyone laughed so hard, it was a great way to kick off the new semester,” said Joel Lakatos, Chapter President.
