No-Sew Blankets
SAL members at NDSU purchased, cut and tied almost 20 blankets and then delivered them to the Homeward Animal Shelter in their community, receiving a tour of the building while there!
Each member took several yards of fabric and worked independently until all the blankets were completed so they could be delivered in one trip. The blankets they made were used to help pad the bottoms of the cat ward’s kennels that previously had worn out towels in them.
Said Chapter President Alexandra Mills, “The results of our community project were amazing. The workers there were very grateful and gave us a tour of the society and let us see the cats we helped.”
