PATH Connections Community Service Event
SAL’s San Diego State University chapter offered a helping hand to PATH Connections, a local program that assists people impacted by homelessness in San Diego. SAL members spent time putting together dinner for residents, as well as making sure that all residents were taken care of during dinner. Afterwards, members made sure to leave a clean dining hall by sweeping the floors and wiping the tables.
“Overall, this was a very wonderful event,” said Chapter President Patricia Flores. “We made a difference in our community. I would definitely want to participate in an event like this again. It was very eye opening to the very real homelessness problem in our city.”
