High Ropes Course
SAL members at James Madison University recently did team cooperation activities, trust exercises, and other types of mental and physical challenges at a ropes course!
Participants first started close to the ground, doing exercises that had conditions limiting communication or increasing difficulty and cooperation needed to complete them. Then they went up onto the high ropes course, harnessed in, and had to do new challenges that required relying on the people around you to complete them. For example, two people walked across two logs that diverge so each person had to lean on the other equally to get across to the next platform.
Said Chapter President Noelle Pinkerd of the event: “It helped us bond, communicate, and build our leadership skills.”
