Family House Breakfast
SAL’s University of Pittsburgh Chapter recently prepared a meal for guests at the Family House in their area.
Family House is a place for patients and their families who are receiving treatment at one of the local Pittsburgh Hospitals. SAL members went down around 8:30am and began preparing pancakes, eggs, and bacon for the residents of the house.
According to Chapter Co-President Meredith Crocker, “This event was extremely successful. Not only did our members have a good time cooking and interacting with the families, but I think the families had a great time too! It was wonderful seeing how happy a simple pancake breakfast could make someone!”
