Family Success Center Dinner
SAL’s Rowan University Chapter went to the local Family Success Center in Glassboro, NJ, to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving dinner to the local people in the community.
Members prepared and cooked a typical Thanksgiving dinner for the less fortunate residents in Glassboro. Before dinner started they did a small Thanksgiving activity for the children, then the members served the people dinner and dessert.
Said Chapter Vice President Lauren Holding of the event: “The people were so thankful for us. This Family Success Dinner was a success. We put a smile on people’s faces that were in need of it this holiday season.”
