Cards for Hospitalized Kids
Many SAL chapters smartly incorporate service projects into their chapter meetings. Clemson University members recently did just that by using part of their meeting time to make and decorate cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids!
Chapter officers also collected canned foods from members and reminded them about SAL’s Annual Food Fight Against Hunger, announcing plans to set up tables outside of local stores and collect cans and/or money over the next month or two.
During just this one meeting, the chapter collected 35 canned foods from members and made 43 Halloween/fall/Christmas/winter cards for hospitalized kids! Well done, Clemson members!
