The most engaging and active leadership roles are filling the role of a Chapter officer. This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. 9-11-01 Flag Memorial Indiana State University SAL members placed flags around a popular area on campus to commemorate 9-11-01.
Phil’s Friends SAL members at Indiana State University showcased their creativity with their project Phil’s Friends.
SAL officers have been so creative in finding ways to serve their communities this year.
Each September, Sigma Alpha Lambda chapters take part in a impactful tradition by participating in SAL’s 9-11 Flag Memorial Event. First started by a former SAL president, the 9-11 Flag Memorial Event aims to provide students with an opportunity to honor those who lives were lost due to the events of September 11th, 2001.
