Harrods Hill Easter Egg Hunt
University of Kentucky SAL members helped others get into the Easter spirit by helping with the Harrods Hill Easter Egg Hunt. They decorated a local park and assisted in hiding the Easter eggs for the children to find during the hunt. Each member also hosted a game, such as Easter Bunny Ring Toss, Spoon and Egg Balance Race, and Bunny Bag Racing. SAL assisted in cleaning the park after the event.
“This was a wonderful activity to help with. The neighborhood leaders were extremely grateful for the help and encouraged further participation for future events. I would recommend more members to invest in local neighborhood events around their campus so that relationships can be built and events can be enjoyed by all,” said Kelsey Lamb, Chapter President at UKY.
