Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful
The University of California Riverside Chapter has made volunteering for Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful an annual event. Members and officers alike love to participate in this event because it is a way to make a difference in their community by keeping it free of trash.
Along with others from the community and other UCR organizations, the SAL members donned orange vests and grabbed rakes, brooms and trash bags and headed to their assigned street. They went right to work, picking up trash and raking up leaves. By the time they were done, the street looked great!
After they finished, the group decided to go to breakfast as a way to get to know each other. They are all looking forward to participating in Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful next year!
