Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
The American Cancer Society hosts the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk all over the country as a way to honor cancer survivors, increase awareness about breast cancer, and raise funds toward their goal of putting an end to cancer. The SAL Chapter at SDSU raised money and participated in the walk.
Members and officers alike, decked out in pink, went to the event to walk and brought the money they had raised. SAL Officers Shea Ohlendorf and Lizette Guzman were SAL’s top fundraisers at this event. Because of their efforts, the ACS will be able to continue to fund cancer research, provide free mammograms, and much more!
