SAL officers have been so creative in finding ways to serve their communities this year. One way a couple of SAL chapters decided to serve was making Valentine cards for hospitalized children.
The University of Maryland College Park chapter held a virtual meeting where SAL members decorated cards. After the meeting, they scanned or mailed their cards to the chapter president who was able to see them safely delivered. They were able to create over 20 cards for to brighten the day for sick children.
Members at Indiana State University chapter joined together for a meeting and decorated cards as well. Members who attended the meeting were able to space out and decorate cards that were sent to children St. Jude’s hospital.
