Going Green to Benefit Relay

SAL’s Binghamton University chapter used St. Patrick’s Day as a way to help bolster their chapter’s Relay For Life fundraising efforts! In order to raise money for Relay For Life, the chapter sold St. Patrick Day’s items that they had previously bought. Overall, the chapter ended up recovering all the money they spent purchasing the items, as well as having $87.92 leftover to donate!

“As this holiday merchandise was sold the day prior to a local St. Patrick’s Day parade, many students were willing to purchase themed merchandise,” said Chapter President Caitlin Healy. “Moreover, the university Relay For Life planning committee members stopped by to congratulate our fundraiser and feature the chapter on their social media account.”
