This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. Galaxy Jars Destress Event It is no surprise that this year has held a lot of unique challenges for college students. Binghamton University SAL officers wanted to gather students on campus to relax and destress before the rush of finals.
Each September, Sigma Alpha Lambda chapters take part in a impactful tradition by participating in SAL’s 9-11 Flag Memorial Event. First started by a former SAL president, the 9-11 Flag Memorial Event aims to provide students with an opportunity to honor those who lives were lost due to the events of September 11th, 2001.
DIY Stress Balls Binghamton University’s SAL chapter added a do-it-yourself activity to their recent chapter meeting. Members made their own stress balls from balloons and Orbeez balls to prepare for the semester.
Resume and LinkedIn Workshop SAL’s Binghamton University chapter helped provide students with a terrific career development opportunity with a Resume and LinkedIn Workshop.
Trunk or Treat SAL’s Binghamton University chapter tapped into the Halloween spirit by bringing back their Trunk or Treat event.
Pumpkin Painting SAL’s Binghamton University chapter embraced the fall season by combining a recent chapter meeting with a pumpkin painting event. The event was well attended, with 11 SAL members participating in this fun event.
