Street Clean-Up

After enjoying last semester’s street clean-up project, the SAL officer team at Western Illinois University were eager to participate in another. This time, they chose to clean up the side streets of their community because those are often neglected during a city-wide clean-up project. The chapter enjoyed it so much they plan to do it at least once a semester.

Chapter President Madeline Zehnal said, “It’s a quick and easy way to bond as a chapter and promote clean living among the community. My favorite part of the event was having a chance to talk with some of the members outside of an academic setting.”
