Bowl for Kids Sake

The University of North Carolina Charlotte Chapter has become an annual participant in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Charlotte’s fundraising event, Bowl for Kids Sake. This event takes place all over the country to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters so that they can continue to impact the lives of children in need.

The SAL chapter provided volunteers for the event and also sponsored bowlers. Chapter President Justin MacGregor said that the event “is not only loads of fun, but helps raise significant funds for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Charlotte.” Bowl for Kids Sake is a way for members to see what Big Brothers Big Sisters is all about and help to raise funds so that more kids can have a “Big Brother” or “Big Sister.”

Many SAL members across the country also volunteer with BBBS to be a Big Brother or Big Sister. We encourage you to get involved in your community and make a difference by getting involved with this great program.
