Operation Christmas Child
Members of the UNL Chapter of SAL recently took time during a chapter meeting to wrap shoe boxes full of Christmas presents for underprivileged children. The wrapping party was a huge hit and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. Each person brought their own shoe box full of gifts to donate/give to an underprivileged child. A total of fifteen boxes were wrapped.Chapter President Danielle Bowden summarized: “I think everyone had a great time while wrapping presents and getting to know one another. I think overall, this was more of a social than a meeting due to the amount of bonding that occurred. I think this is a great opportunity and more chapters should participate!”
