Christmas Tree Silent Auction

University of Iowa’s Sigma Alpha Lambda chapter did a Christmas Tree Silent Auction to benefit the new Stead Family Children’s Hospital. They put up a tree in a local bank and decorated it with ornaments that were signed by athletics coaches, doctors, and other members of the Iowa City community. They were filled with gold glitter to match their black and gold theme and designed by SAL members. As a thank-you, the hospital gave SAL a tour of the new hospital.

“We wanted a fundraiser as unique as our new hospital,” said Emily Steinbach, Chapter President. “We would love to do this type of fundraiser in the future! Our favorite part is knowing how much we are helping the children in our hospital!”
