Humane Society

SAL’s Purdue University chapter united to offer a helping hand to the staff and animals at the Almost Home Humane Society. Chapter members worked together to assist the animals at the Humane Society, with half the members spending time with the cats and the other half spending time with the dogs. In addition to volunteering their time, the chapter donated food and toys.

“The animals are always ready to see new people and so they loved having us around,” said Chapter President Craig Sheehan. “We helped the Humane Society with basic tasks so they could focus on more dire things (such as exams and shots for the animals).”
