Insight 5K Walk

Sigma Alpha Lambda members at Middle Tennessee State University volunteered at the Insight 5K Walk for the Tennessee School of the Blind. SAL volunteers assisted with the handling of the money for the raffle and also helped sign people up. They were then each were assigned to assist a blind member along the trail and help them get beverages and snacks and read their raffle tickets as the prizes were called out.

“The Insight walk was such a unique and wonderful event,” said Kaylyn Gerth, Chapter President. ” I would easily call it my favorite service event that I have ever participated in due to the ability to directly guide someone in need through the path.”
