Volunteering at Vizcaya

One of the best parts of being a SAL member is participating in service events with your fellow members. With this being the case, it’s no surprise that SAL’s Florida International University chapter jumped at the opportunity to volunteer at the Vizcaya Museum. Members spent time cleaning the area around the mangroves, as well as cleaning the mangroves themselves. As a reward for their hard work, chapter members were treated to free lunch.

“This was the first time we were trying out this activity, and ever since its announcement the members were excited for it,” said Chapter President Daniela Garcia.
