Freddy’s Fundraiser

In order to raise money to fund a trip to the National Collegiate Leadership Conference in Arizona, the Emporia State University Chapter held several fundraisers at Freddy’s, a local restaurant. At each fundraising night, 15% of the restaurant’s earnings went to the chapter.

The members pitched in to help at the restaurant on the night of their fundraiser by opening the door for customers and greeting them and wiping tables. They invited friends and family to come eat at the restaurant so that the fundraiser would be a success. Chapter President Timothy Thomas did a great job rallying the members and officers to come out and participate in the fundraisers. Each night went well and the chapter was able to raise a lot of money to help them go to the conference!
