March for Babies

The March for Babies is a walk to raise funds for the March of Dimes organization. Their mission is “[to] help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.” When the SAL chapter at California State University Fresno heard that their school was hosting a March for Babies Walk, they wanted to be a part of it.

The SAL team made t-shirts, raised funds and recruited more walkers for their team by getting friends and family involved. The team was able to raise $425! The walk took place at a local park and was a huge success. Many teams and individuals from California State University Fresno and the surrounding community raised money and participated in the walk.
