The most engaging and active leadership roles are filling the role of a Chapter officer. This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. Scholarships and Awards
Scholarships and Awards range from $100 to $5000 and are available for both undergraduate members as well as members furthering their academic endeavors through post-graduate study. Applications are available at the beginning of April each year and are due to the Scholarship Committee by the end of May. For more information, please view the Scholarship page.

SAL members from the University of Arizona recently volunteered at the JDRF Walk! This walk is put on by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which raises money to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. (more…)

PACC Dog Walking
SAL members from our University of Arizona Chapter were all smiles as they recently volunteered at the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC). They devoted their time to walking dogs and playing with them for a few hours to give them some of the exercise and attention they need. (more…)
Chef for a Day
Members of Sigma Alpha Lambda at University of Arizona dedicated their time, money and energy to help prepare and serve a meal for their local Ronald McDonald House. After shopping the evening before, volunteers cooked and served hamburgers, hot dogs, various salads, and cookies for the guests. (more…)
