This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. First starting as an event at a single chapter, the 9-11 Flag Memorial event has blossomed into a fall tradition for Sigma Alpha Lambda. This year, SAL members from across the country worked to create beautiful memorials on their respective campuses.

Corky’s Cupboard SAL members at Emporia State University used a chapter meeting time to take up donations for Corky’s Cupboard, an on-campus food pantry for students. They went door-to-door asking for donations and received excellent results.
